Deburring

Edge deburring and edge rounding

We ensure that all sheet metal parts receive a uniform and safe edge finish. Sharp edges can cause damage during handling or damage cables and components during assembly – therefore, deburring and edge rounding are an integral part of our process. A rounded edge also provides a better coating thickness for subsequent surface treatment.

Our deburring and edge rounding machines are developed to deliver a consistent result on all edges – regardless of the shape and contour of the workpiece. The machines are equipped with advanced rotating brush heads with eight counter-rotating brushes, which rotate about a vertical axis and move across the workpiece. This technology ensures even 360° machining from all angles, and the degree of edge rounding can be adjusted from light to heavy – up to a radius of 2 mm.

In front of the rotating head, we have a sanding belt station that can be used for both deburring and finishing. The station is equipped with a floating head system that automatically adjusts if the grinding pressure becomes too high. This prevents overheating and ensures stable, high quality on all items.

In addition to mechanical deburring, we also offer vibration deburring with carborundum stones, vibration polishing with ceramics and coarse tumbling of items – all with a focus on uniformity, surface quality and efficiency.

Deburring that matches your requirements for precision and aesthetics

Our employees have extensive experience with deburring and understand how the right finish makes a difference to the finished product. We combine manual and mechanical methods – from grinding and brushing to vibrating and thermal deburring – to ensure consistent quality and a surface that is ready for use.

Deburring is often a necessary part of the finishing process when metal parts have undergone processes such as cutting, milling or punching. By removing sharp edges and burrs, both the functionality and safety of the workpiece are improved – especially in those components that must be assembled, surface-treated or handled manually. Deburring is therefore an important quality assurance in many productions.

We ensure that your items receive a deburring that matches both the aesthetic expression and the technical requirements. We adapt the method to your specific task – regardless of whether the focus should be on the surface finish, fit during assembly or safety during handling. The result is components that are ready for further processing or direct use, and that live up to the requirements that you and your customers place on quality and functionality.
