Bagger-Sørensen Equity acquires the majority stake in Jymika A/S

On February 3, 2025, Bagger-Sørensen Equity acquired the majority stake in Jymika A/S. The company is now owned by Bagger-Sørensen Equity, as well as Martin Nielsen and Kent Nielsen, directors and second generation of Jymika A/S.
The acquisition marks Bagger-Sørensen Equity’s second investment in the newly established platform, BASO Group, of which Jymika A/S is now a part.

Jymika is a perfect fit for the strategy and ambition to build a Danish total supplier within metalworking and the development of components and tools. From design and construction to production, service, repair, and reconditioning. Regardless of whether it concerns critical single-piece components, special products, or larger series productions, the ambition is to offer an integrated value proposition based on in-depth expertise via a cluster of specialized companies.

Briefly about Jymika:

Jymika A/S was established in 1985 as a small smithy and machine shop and expanded the following year with the production and repair of hydraulic cylinders. In 1990, the employee Leif Nielsen took over the company and laid a solid foundation for the company’s further development. In 2008, a generational change became a reality when the sons Martin and Kent Nielsen took over. Today, Jymika is a recognized subcontractor with 40 years of experience and expertise in hydraulic cylinders and CNC machining.
